Project Description:
Addition of new infrastructure to increase the capacity of the refugee accommodation center in Ritsona (total intervention area 50 acres). The works included the installation of 222 new housing units with a capacity of 1536 people, of which 9 being disabled-accessible and 2 designed for communal use and group activities (offices, laundry rooms, recreational areas). The project involved the design of the surrounding area and its landscape (2 playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, 1 soccer field), internal road construction as well as the expansion of sewage treatment plant. The project was completed within 110 calendar days.
